Singapore with kids: 8 hotels in the picture
Singapore is the perfect base for exploring the rest of Southeast Asia. From Singapore, you can easily fly to destinations like Indonesia (and Bali), Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia... Singapore is often planned as a stopover to break up the long journey. It’s the ideal place to get a taste of life in Asia while still holding on to some familiar comforts. Singapore has it all: skyscrapers and shopping malls alongside unique neighborhoods like Little India and Chinatown. Are you convinced about Singapore yet? Let me share our research on the ideal hotel in Singapore. We eventually stayed at the Four Seasons in Singapore, but below you'll find other hotels in Singapore where you and your children will feel more than welcome. Each of these hotels offers a touch of soft luxury to relax and enjoy everything Singapore has to offer.
FOUR SEASONS SINGAPORE
Anyone familiar with Four Seasons knows that it is the hotel chain for those who love to relax in a luxurious environment. We explored Singapore from here using public transportation (the metro station is just 2 minutes away). A major plus is the presence of a family pool on the hotel's rooftop. There is also a second pool on the 3rd floor reserved for adults. This arrangement perfectly caters to those seeking peace and relaxation while allowing children to fully enjoy themselves without disturbing anyone. Want to know more about this hotel in Singapore? I wrote a full review about it.
HOLIDAY INN SINGAPORE LITTLE INDIA
If you choose to stay in Little India, you're diving straight into the vibrant life of the area. Little India is colorful and hectic, but also so much fun! The hotel itself offers a haven of tranquility near this buzzing neighborhood. The pool is, of course, crucial. For families, they have family lofts, with an extra level that gives you a sense of separation.
W SENTOSA ISLAND
Sentosa Island is the entertainment hub of Singapore. You'll find theme parks like Universal Studios and many other vacation activities, as well as various hotels that focus on a beach vibe. Less city vibes, more sun, sea, sand, and relaxation. Of course, Singapore isn't very large, so it's easy to get to the city center from here too. This W caught our attention with its inviting pool. To overcome potential jet lag, a nice pool and a vibe of "everything is possible, nothing is mandatory" can have some advantages. Judge for yourself!
FAIRMONT SINGAPORE
Fairmont remains a superb and reliable hotel, and the one in Singapore is no exception! Once again, there's a beautiful pool and a seemingly relaxed atmosphere. With a view of the famous Marina Bay Sands, one of Singapore's iconic landmarks, it already has an edge in terms of the Singapore experience. It seems like the perfect place to acclimate to Asian soil.
SWISSOTEL SINGAPORE
Swissotel stands out simply because it is one of the tallest hotels in Singapore, a city full of skyscrapers. Additionally, it boasts 2 swimming pools and no fewer than 12 dining options(!)
PAN PACIFIC ORCHARD
Pan Pacific Orchard is located on the same street as our Four Seasons, and it was a very striking building in the streetscape. It perfectly embodies what Singapore increasingly aims to represent: a city intertwined with nature. There are various pools and experiences, making it a destination in its own right. The photos don’t lie; it looks fantastic!
ARTYZEN SINGAPORE
The same applies to this Artyzen in Singapore. This hotel perfectly aligns with Singapore's plans to blend buildings and typical cityscapes with nature. Moreover, it exudes a luxury that we hope to see even more of in the future.
AMARA SINGAPORE
Singapore seems to be the haven of luxury hotels. Amara cleverly capitalizes on this by offering a beautiful hotel at a slightly better price. We know Amara as a reliable chain where it would surprise me if you didn't get value for your money. The ideal choice for those who prioritize price-to-quality ratio in their hotel selection.
